Too many dicks in here

I've been taking far too many photos for my liking.
I'm worried if I carry on like this, I will want to pursue a career in photography.
That would make terrible competition between siblings, I most definitely don't want to do that.

Surprisingly I still have the idea of wanting to be a writer.

Cologne

We wandered through the streets of beautiful Cologne today, a city where you would really need to be loved up in. The hohenzollernbrücke (the bridge right by the main train station must) hold over a million pad locks, all with names of couples or loved ones. They are known, as the tradition of love padlocks, google it apparently it’s done everywhere. We plan to buy some padlocks tomorrow to customise and attach tomorrow. However I think I might prefer to come back when I’ve found “the one” and scratch their name on it and throw the key in the river together.

Paula, Eleanora and Irwin had half metre sausages for lunch and tiny beers, even a beef sausage! It’s just like one long burger. Supercute came round later for dinner, which was non existent and as we watched YouTube clips of Lady Gaga crowd surfin the Supercute girls spiralled off into one of their gossips and so many conversations run over one and other, facebook gets turned on and we get a show of at least everyone they have met in the last two years; including boys who June regularly stalks.

Once the rambling slowed down, I wondered back to my room to bed and ended up watching half an hours worth of the hotels own channel.

Today is the Cologne gig, and whilst everybody sound checks I'm trying to drink as much water as possible, my lips have crusted over and wont stop! I'm not a fan of bottled water (it leaves an after taste) so I've been lacking in my fluid intake which I think could be the reason, fingers crossed they get better as they burn they're so sore.

Awaiting the Sidelines

Bursting Blisters and Broken Buses

The audience in Stockholm loved it!!

I was upstairs using the little internet I could find and missed the beginning of the Kate but I saw all of SUPERCUTE! and the end of Kate, in Oslo the stage was much smaller so I didn’t get to see all of the new set but much more of it was up and the lights looked amazing.

I have noticed I use the word amazing too much.

After the show, some of us wondered out for a walk, we bumped into SUPERCUTE in SevenEleven shopping for ‘candy’ again. And found a little kebab type shop on the side of the road with these swinging udder sauces; some falafel and mash potato wraps..

We all loaded the bus around 1am, and as planned everyone sat around to watch me pop my blister, video coming soon. It is on the rare occasion I wear heels and the evening before tour I decided it was a wise choice. This blister is bigger than I have ever seen, bulging out the side of my big toe every time I roll over in the night it wobbles and hurts.

Once plastered up, everyone made their way to bed until around 2.30am we heard Brett shouting for everyone to get up, get dressed, and get off! There was smoke coming from the engine. As we were on the motorway everyone clambered in their pyjamas over the barriers to safety, where we watched Paula tackle the engine.

On Route To Oslo

Kate, Ryan and I eventually got to the hotel by Manchester airport around 4am, after an amazing wedding party with friends, photo booths and wigs galore! I didn’t get much time to spend in my Maritime themed room as we had to catch an early flight to Oslo. However we did manage to have time for breakfast, we didn’t hear the final call for our flight, Kate had mozzarella and tomato baguette and I had a tuna melt, which landed nicely on my leggings, in the general area of my vagina.

Fishy crotch until I find a washing machine.

I did bring more than one pair of leggings but they’re my favourite.

Once we finally arrived at the Rockefeller venue I got to meet SUPERCUTE! and they really are super cute! A few years ago whilst Kate was touring in America I met The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, and daughter of the band Rachel has formed with June and Julia to create Supercute. They make all their own outfits, even their pyjamas. With Mama Tratchenburg on board too, the bus is much more homely; although both Kate and me were the last to choose bunks so we’re right by the toilet. I can feel a stench starting to form.

They were pretty new lights and a set design with Kate’s new tour, an umbrella full of lightbulbs, and a Supercute inspired outfit!!

Pre Tour Nerves

I had a dream.

Or nightmare so to speak about ruining Kate's life; I smashed her ceremonial egg which prevented her from ever getting married. Mum puts it down to pre-tour nerves, I quote "Probably cause you'll ruin the tour".

I don't hold Kate's career in my hands or anything with too much responsibility, however I'm still feeling the pressure. I am thee official tour blogger. The stress has caused me to break out in massive red spots all over my chin, or that could be the crap I ate whilst working on the video for "Later On" (don't worry I'm on some new medication now for my "acne").

Tour is lasting between 3-6 weeks for me, I'm not hundred percent on when I'm back home so that made it extra difficult to pack, how many pairs of knickers? Will I find the time to fake tan? Dry shampoo or let the grease roll?

I have been on tour before but never with the responsibility of being on the payroll and having "deadlines". Plus being 'sister of' opens me up to beatings* on top of telling offs. Not that Kate beats me...

So I will go with my pen, pretty Paperchase pad, and thesaurus. Wish me luck and keep your eyes and ears peeled for my behind the scenes blog!!

*All jokes aside, Kate hasn't beaten me since we were about 13.
